- We are looking for a hands-on Cost & Statutory Compliance skilled to manage Cost Audit, ASR and related statutory requirements.
The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience , excellent Excel skills and the ability to independently handle assignments from data collection through finalisation and submission. Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- CMA with 1-3 years post qualification experience.
Other Knowledge & Skills Understanding of cost records, financial process and systems. Excellent MS Excel skills - mandatory , including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS etc.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Independently handle Cost Audit activities, including preparation of cost records, schedules, reconciliations and supporting documentation.
- 1.
Manage ASR preparation and related statutory submissions.
- 1. Maintain and ensure accuracy of cost accounting records and supporting data.
- 1. Coordinate with Finance, Operations, Procurement, Production and other functions for collection and validation of required information.
- 1. Prepare detailed cost analysis, reconciliations, variance analysis and cost statements.
- 1. Liaise with Cost Auditors, Statutory Auditors and internal stakeholders for audit requirements and closure of observations.
- 1. Ensure timely compliance with applicable Cost Accounting Standards, Cost Audit Rules and Companies Act requirements.
- 1. Analyse large datasets and identify discrepancies, inconsistencies and unusual cost movements.
- 1. Prepare management MIS and analytical reports relating to costs, profitability and operational performance.
- 1. Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for statutory and audit purposes.
- 1. Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation of applicable requirements.
- 1. Should be comfortable working extensively with large data sets, reconciliations, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS and other advanced Excel functions.
