Job Title: Agri Quality Developer
Job Type: Full time | On – Site
Role Objective
We are looking for an experienced Agri Quality & Farm Developer to develop and strengthen our flower farming network for the export of Indian traditional flowers.
The role will be responsible for identifying high-quality flower-growing regions, developing direct relationships with farmers, improving cultivation and quality practices, and building a reliable farm-to-export supply chain for traditional Indian flowers.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop high-quality flower-growing regions across the Coimbatore and Bangalore regions, including Sathyamangalam and surrounding agricultural areas, based on soil, climate, water availability, cultivation practices and seasonal conditions.
- Conduct regular farm and field visits to assess flower quality, varieties, production capacity, yield potential, seasonal availability and suitability for the company's export requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers, growers and farmer groups, and establish reliable direct sourcing and contract farming networks across the assigned regions.
- Identify and develop suitable farms and dedicated flower-growing clusters capable of supplying consistent, high-quality Indian traditional flowers to the company's Sathyamangalam, Coimbatore and Bangalore-region warehouses.
- Establish and monitor flower quality standards covering size, colour, freshness, fragrance, maturity, appearance, shelf life, grading, harvesting and export suitability.
- Guide and train farmers on improved cultivation, harvesting, grading, sorting and post-harvest handling practices to improve flower quality, yield, shelf life and supply consistency.
- Work closely with Flower Purchase, Warehouse, Production, Packing and Export teams to coordinate farm production with business requirements and ensure a smooth farm-to-warehouse-to-export supply chain.
- Monitor and analyze farm-level quality and supply performance, identify causes of rejection, wastage, damage and short shelf life, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Explore new flower varieties, farming locations and cultivation practices, conduct field trials, and coordinate with agriculture experts, horticulture departments and research institutions where required.
- Maintain comprehensive farm and farmer data and prepare regular reports covering sourcing potential,
flower quality, production capacity, seasonal availability, farmer performance, new farm development and future supply opportunities for the Indian traditional flower export business.
Candidate Eligibility
- 5–8 years of experience in agriculture, horticulture, floriculture, farm development, agricultural sourcing or flower quality management.
- Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Floriculture / Agronomy or a related field preferred.
- Strong practical knowledge of flower cultivation and farm management.
- Experience in farmer development, field visits and agricultural sourcing.
- Good understanding of flower quality assessment and post-harvest handling.
- Ability to identify suitable geographical areas for specific flower varieties.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with farmers.
- Willingness to travel extensively to farms and agricultural markets.
- Ability to convert field-level agricultural information into business and sourcing decisions.
Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be a field-oriented agriculture professional who understands both farming and business requirements and can identify where the best flowers are grown, develop those farming areas, work directly with farmers, improve quality, and build a dependable supply base for Indian traditional flower exports.
