ROLE SUMMARY

Incumbent will serve as the organization's focal point for Ethics, Whistleblower Complaints, Fraud Risk Management, Conflict of Interest governance and ethical culture initiatives. The role is responsible for independently managing and overseeing sensitive investigations, driving fraud prevention measures, strengthening ethical conduct across the organization and ensuring timely reporting to management, Ethics Committee and Audit Committee. The incumbent will work closely with business leaders, HR, Legal, Internal Audit and external investigation partners to identify, investigate and mitigate misconduct, fraud and governance-related concerns.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Investigations

- Conduct and lead investigations involving Whistleblower complaints, fraud, employee misconduct, policy violations, conflict of interest matters and other ethical concerns.
- Manage and supervise investigations conducted by external forensic firms and consultants.
- Prepare investigation reports and track Management Action Plans (MAPs).
- Present findings to Ethics Committee, senior management and Audit Committee.
- Liaise with law enforcement agencies, legal counsels and regulatory authorities.
- Proactively identify fraud vulnerabilities and governance risks.

Ethics Awareness
- Drive awareness and adoption of Tata Code of Conduct (TCoC).
- Conduct ethics induction and refresher programs.
- Partner with leadership to strengthen ethical culture and Tone from the Top.




- Lead ethics communication campaigns through digital platforms.
- Manage Conflict of Interest and Gifts & Hospitality processes.
- Ensure completion of mandatory TCoC training.

POSH
- Support POSH awareness, governance and compliance.
- Conduct POSH induction and awareness programs.
- Ensure statutory POSH filings and compliance.
- Oversee POSH training and awareness requirements.

Additional Responsibilities
- Develop confidential reporting and investigation mechanisms.
- Strengthen fraud prevention controls.
- Drive process improvements arising from investigations.
- Lead, coach and develop team members.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- Strong understanding of Ethics & Compliance frameworks and Corporate Governance
- Expertise in investigations, fraud risk assessments and whistleblower management
- Robust interviewing, evidence gathering and report-writing skills
- Ability to work with senior leadership and Audit Committees
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and reporting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- 10-15 years of experience in Ethics, Compliance, Corporate Investigations, Fraud Risk Management, Forensics or Internal Audit
- Proven experience handling sensitive investigations and whistleblower complaints
- Experience working with senior leadership and Audit Committees
- Exposure to forensic investigation firms preferred
- Strong understanding of fraud prevention and ethics governance
