Roots Country School, Baghi, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh is looking for a confident, energetic, and target-oriented Admission Counselor to join our admissions team.

Work Location ; Maple Plaza, Bhatta Kuffer, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh

Salary & Incentives ; ₹20,000 per month + performance-based incentives The position offers a fixed monthly salary of ₹20,000 along with performance-based incentives linked to successful admission conversions.

There is no fixed upper limit on incentive earnings. Total monthly earnings will vary depending on the candidate's performance, admission conversions, and ability to generate and convert leads.

Note:Food and accommodation will not be provided by the school for this position.

Preference will be given to candidates from shimla .

Key Responsibilities

- Handle admission enquiries received through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, online platforms, and other channels.
- Connect with prospective parents and students and understand their requirements.
- Counsel parents regarding the school's academic programmes, boarding facilities, admission process, fee structure, and other facilities.
- Make regular follow-up calls and maintain effective communication with prospective parents.
- Work towards converting genuine enquiries into registrations and confirmed admissions.
- Distribute school brochures and other admission-related promotional material to prospective parents and relevant audiences.
- Conduct outreach activities to generate new admission leads.
- Maintain and update records of enquiries, follow-ups, registrations, and admission conversions.
- Coordinate with parents regarding school visits, registration, documentation, and other admission-related formalities.
- Coordinate with the school administration and admissions team regarding the status of prospective admissions.
- Handle parent queries professionally and ensure timely communication.
- Assist in admission campaigns, promotional activities, events, and outreach programmes.
- Maintain daily/weekly reports of leads,



follow-ups, and conversions.
- Achieve assigned admission targets and contribute towards the overall growth of school admissions.
- Represent Roots Country School professionally while interacting with parents, students, and external contacts.

Eligibility & Requirements

- Graduate/Postgraduate in a relevant discipline.
- Candidates with BBA, MBA, or equivalent qualifications will be preferred.
- Candidates with a Hospitality Management/Hotel Management background are also encouraged to apply, particularly those with strong customer-service and client-handling experience.
- Prior experience in admission counselling, educational consultancy, sales, tele-counselling, hospitality, customer relationship management, or a similar field will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of English and Hindi.
- Confident, presentable, and professional personality.
- Strong convincing, counselling, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents and handle queries patiently.
- Target-oriented approach with a strong focus on lead conversion.
- Positive computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Office/Google Workspace.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple leads simultaneously.
- Willingness to undertake field/outreach activities, including brochure distribution and connecting with prospective parents.
- Candidates who are self-motivated, proactive, and capable of independently generating and converting admission leads will be preferred.
