Key Responsibilities:

- Administration and Operations:

 Develop and implement efficient administrative systems and procedures.

 Manage budgets, accounts, and financial planning for the fort’s operations.

 Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance to the Director.

- People Management:

 Supervise and coordinate the activities of all staff, including guides, maintenance teams, and security personnel.

 Conduct regular training sessions to enhance staff skills and knowledge, with a focus on heritage and hospitality.

 Address employee concerns and foster a positive and productive work culture.

- Facilities Management:

 Ensure the fort's facilities, including visitor amenities and security systems, are well-

maintained and operational.

 Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, upgrades, and other services.

 Implement sustainable practices in resource usage and waste management.

- Historic Site Management:

 Oversee the preservation and conservation of the fort’s structures and artifacts in collaboration with heritage experts.

 Ensure compliance with regulations and policies related to heritage site management.

 Develop and execute plans for enhancing visitor experiences while maintaining the integrity of the historic site.

- Visitor Experience and Public Engagement:

 Monitor and improve visitor services, including ticketing, tours, and on-site events.

 Liaise with tour operators, cultural organizations, and other stakeholders to promote the fort as a heritage destination.

 Address visitor feedback and ensure high levels of satisfaction.

- Risk and Safety Management:





 Identify potential risks and implement measures to ensure the safety of visitors, staff,

and the fort’s assets.

 Develop emergency preparedness plans and conduct regular drills.

- Additional Responsibilities:

 Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the fort through digital and offline channels.

 Assist in organizing cultural events, workshops, and exhibitions.

 Support fundraising and sponsorship initiatives to enhance the fort’s offerings.

Qualifications and Skills

Educational Qualifications

 Master’s degree in Management, Heritage Studies, Tourism Management,

Architecture or a related field.

Qualified Experience

 Minimum 6-8 years of experience in administration, preferably with at least 3-5 years in managing heritage sites, museums, or similar facilities.

 Proven track record in managing teams and facilities.

Skills and Competencies

 Strong leadership and people management skills.

 Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

 Knowledge of heritage site management practices and preservation techniques.

 Familiarity with budget management and financial reporting.

 Proficiency in using office software and management tools.

 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 Problem-solving aptitude and ability to make decisions under pressure.

 Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of Rajasthani is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

 Certifications or training in heritage conservation, facilities management, or tourism development.

 Experience with technology-enabled solutions for administration and visitor management.
