Senior Accounts Officer Accounts Receivable – 2-5 years - Mohali

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accounts Officer – Accounts Receivable to manage day-to-day AR activities, including billing, receipt allocation, bank reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, fixed asset reconciliation, reporting, and issue resolution. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting expertise, advanced Excel skills, and experience managing stakeholders.

Responsibilities –

1. Manage billing and invoicing activities, including customer invoices, monthly billing cycles, payroll-related invoicing, and AR performance reporting.
2. Perform bank, fixed asset, payroll clearing, AR aging, and balance sheet reconciliations while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
3. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, customer queries, disputes, and other escalated AR issues in coordination with internal teams.
4. Lead client calls and reviews to discuss AR performance, open items, reconciliations, and issue resolution while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
5. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance AR efficiency, strengthen controls, and reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).

Requirements –

1. Inter CA with 5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
2. Strong understanding of AR processes, accounting principles, financial reporting, ERP systems, and compliance requirements.
3. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other reporting tools with strong data analysis capabilities.
4. Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
5.



Experience in shared services or multinational environments, Oracle/Oracle Fusion, automation tools, or process improvement initiatives will be preferred.
