Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Noida. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts.
Responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
The role also involves coordinating with internal teams and external auditors, monitoring payables and receivables, assisting with cost and inventory accounting as needed, and supporting process improvements in the finance function.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance with relevant standards and tax regulations.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems, or similar), MS Excel, and basic data analysis tools.
- Experience in general ledger management, account reconciliation, and preparation of monthly/annual closing statements.
- Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow tracking.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; qualified certifications (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or agro-based industries is beneficial, particularly in cost and inventory accounting.
