Role Description The Accountant role at Rattan Verma is a full-time, on-site position based in Yankin. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.

The role includes preparing financial statements, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations. The Accountant will support month-end and year-end close processes, maintain accurate documentation,



and collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights for operational and strategic decisions. This position also involves working with management to improve financial processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.

Qualifications

- Robust foundational accounting skills, including bookkeeping, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and basic financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., Excel or similar tools), with the ability to work with digital and cloud-based systems.
- Solid understanding of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and standard accounting practices.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical and business teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance role; experience in a technology or services company is beneficial.
