Role Description The Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Nashik. Day-to-day responsibilities include recording and maintaining financial transactions, preparing ledgers, reconciling accounts, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

The role involves monitoring cash flows, supporting budgeting activities, ensuring compliance with banking and regulatory requirements, and coordinating with internal teams for audits. The Accountant will also help maintain accurate documentation,



respond to financial queries, and contribute to improving internal financial processes in line with the bank’s cooperative values.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and ledger management.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office applications (especially Excel).
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and robust analytical skills.
- Understanding of banking operations, regulatory compliance, and audit processes (cooperative banking experience is an advantage).
