nAbout the Role

nWe're looking for a Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of experience in a B2C startup setting to manage our core accounting operations bookkeeping, taxation, monthly closings, and reporting.

nKey Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and ensure accurate, timely maintenance of books of accounts
n
- Handle direct and indirect taxation- GST, TDS, income tax filings, and compliance with statutory timelines
n
- Drive the monthly financial closing process and ensure accuracy across all ledgers
n
- Prepare financial statements in line with IFRS/Ind AS standards
n
- Build and maintain general financial reporting- MIS, dashboards, and management reports
n
- Support the preparation of investor-ready financial reports and data; assist leadership during investor and board meetings with clear,



accurate financial information
n
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
n
- Help set up and improve financial processes, controls, and systems as the company scales
n

nRequirements

n

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
n
- 5+ years of relevant experience, with prior exposure to a B2C startup strongly preferred
n
- Strong working knowledge of bookkeeping, taxation (direct + indirect), monthly closing processes, IFRS/Ind AS, and financial reporting
n
- Excellent communication skills and a polished, professional presence- this role will involve interfacing with investors and leadership
n
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
n
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
