Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Accountant at Indochats. The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining the general ledger. The role involves preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and supporting internal financial reporting.

The Accountant will reconcile bank and payment platform accounts, monitor cash flow, and ensure accurate revenue recognition for digital services. The role also includes supporting audits,



ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in financial accounting, including general ledger management, journal entries, and preparation of financial statements.
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, bank reconciliations, and cash flow tracking.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business planning and decision-making.
- Working knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations relevant to Indian and digital businesses, with attention to compliance and documentation.
- Comfort with accounting and ERP software, spreadsheets, and digital payment platforms; ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Excellent numerical accuracy, analytical thinking, and attention to detail, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; qualified certifications such as CA, CMA, or equivalent are an advantage.
- Prior experience in tech, fintech, or digital services environments is beneficial.
