Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Mumbai. The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial transactions, including posting entries, maintaining general ledgers, reconciling bank accounts, and managing accounts payable and receivable.

Responsibilities include preparing invoices, monitoring collections, supporting payroll calculations, and maintaining accurate records for audits and compliance. The role will also involve preparing financial statements, assisting with budgeting, coordinating with internal teams and external auditors,



and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in bookkeeping, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of taxation, GST, and statutory compliance relevant to manufacturing and export/import activities.
- Ability to manage accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and invoice processing with high accuracy.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordination with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA) are an advantage.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred, particularly in metal or engineering sectors.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
