Role Description The Accountant role at BLANCO PROPERTIES is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Kolkata Area. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing financial reports. The Accountant will handle accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, assist with budgeting, and support month-end and year-end closing processes.

The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, coordinating with internal teams and external auditors, and providing accurate financial data to support business decisions. The Accountant is expected to maintain organized financial records and contribute to improving financial processes and controls.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, financial reporting, and reconciliations.




- Experience with accounting software and proficiency in standard office tools such as spreadsheets and data management applications. Handling profit and loss account of the sales units.
- Familiarity with local taxation rules, regulatory compliance, and audit support practices.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; skilled certifications (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in real estate or property management accounting is beneficial but not mandatory.
