Key Responsibilities

- Teach Accountancy as the core subject to undergraduate Commerce students.
- Plan and deliver engaging, concept-oriented classroom lectures.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, question papers, and study resources.
- Explain accounting concepts, principles, standards, and practical accounting problems effectively.
- Conduct tutorials, practical sessions, tests, and remedial classes as required.
- Evaluate students' assignments, internal assessments, examinations, and overall academic performance.
- Guide and mentor students in academic and career-related matters.
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, internal assessment marks, and other departmental documentation.
- Participate in college examinations, departmental activities, seminars, workshops, and other academic events.
- Stay updated with the University of Mumbai syllabus, UGC guidelines, accounting practices, and developments in the field of Accountancy.
- Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum-related activities, and student development initiatives.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and student-friendly learning environment.

Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Commerce / Accountancy / relevant discipline from a recognized university.




- Candidates should have Accountancy as a specialization/core subject.
- NET/SET/Ph.D. qualification will be preferred as applicable under prevailing UGC and University of Mumbai norms.
- Candidates should have a strong understanding of undergraduate-level Accountancy.
- Good communication, presentation, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills
- Strong command of Financial Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, and related Commerce subjects.
- Ability to explain numerical and theoretical concepts in a easy and effective manner.
- Good knowledge of the University of Mumbai Commerce syllabus is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace and digital teaching tools.
- Ability to prepare quality study material and assessment resources.
- Freshers and experienced candidates may apply, subject to applicable eligibility norms.

Experience Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply. Teaching experience at the undergraduate/degree-college level will be an added advantage.
