Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Account Executive role based in the Pune Division.
The Account
Executive will manage a portfolio of clients, handle day-to-day account coordination, and ensure timely communication between customers and internal technical, engineering, and operations teams.
Responsibilities include preparing proposals and quotations, tracking project progress, supporting contract negotiations, and maintaining accurate records in CRM and reporting tools. The role involves responding to client inquiries, addressing service issues, following up on payments, and supporting business development activities such as lead qualification and market outreach.
The Account
Executive will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality service and contribute to revenue growth and client retention.
Qualifications
We are looking for a qualified and experienced finance professional to manage end-to-end accounting, taxation, audit, compliance, financial reporting, and MIS functions.
The candidate will also support management in a Virtual CFO capacity, providing financial insights, strategic advice, cost-control measures, profitability analysis, and support for business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Finalisation
Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
Maintain and review books of accounts.
Handle monthly and annual closing of accounts.
Prepare financial statements and schedules.
Ensure proper accounting controls and documentation.
2. Direct & Indirect Taxation
Prepare and file Income Tax Returns.
Handle Income Tax assessments, notices, and related matters.
Manage GST return filing and GST reconciliations.
Handle GST notices, refunds, and litigation-related matters.
Ensure complete TDS calculation, deduction, payment, reconciliation, and return filing.
Ensure timely compliance with applicable tax laws.
3. Audit & Compliance
Coordinate Statutory Audit and Tax Audit.
Support/perform Internal Audit and risk assessment.
Coordinate with auditors and consultants.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.
Identify and strengthen internal financial controls.
4. MIS & Financial Reporting
Prepare monthly/periodic MIS reports for management.
Prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
Analyse revenue, expenses, profitability, and financial performance.
Monitor cash flow and working capital.
Provide financial data and insights to management.
5. Virtual CFO Responsibilities
Assist management in strategic financial planning.
Provide financial advice for business decisions.
Analyse project/business profitability.
Identify opportunities for cost control and improvement.
Monitor financial risks and internal controls.
Liaise with banks, auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Support management with timely and accurate financial information.
Required Qualifications & Skills
CA / CMA / CPA or relevant finance qualification.
Strong practical knowledge of Accounting, GST, Income Tax, TDS, and Audit.
Experience in handling tax/GST notices and assessments will be preferred.
Good knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards.
Solid MS Excel and accounting software/ERP skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
Ability to interact confidently with management, auditors, consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
? Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Finance & Accounts
