Role Description The Accessories Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing accessories that complement Deme’s apparel collections, including jewelry, belts, bags, and other fashion accents. Day-to-day tasks include creating mood boards, sketching designs, selecting materials and finishes, collaborating with the design and production teams, and overseeing prototypes from sampling to final product. The role involves researching trends, consumer preferences, and market opportunities to ensure accessories align with the brand’s aesthetic and commercial goals.

The Accessories

Designer will also work closely with merchandising and styling teams to ensure cohesive looks for campaigns, runway, and retail. This is a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Accessory Design and Jewelry Design, with the ability to create cohesive collections that complement apparel.
- Experience in Product Design and Product Development,



including prototyping, material selection, and production handovers.
- Ability to conduct trend and market Research to inform design direction and ensure commercial viability.
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD) and hand sketching for detailed technical and creative drawings.
- Understanding of materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes for fashion accessories and jewelry.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with design, production, merchandising, and styling teams.
- Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced fashion environment.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Accessory Design, Product Design, or a related field; prior experience in luxury or contemporary fashion is an advantage.
