Isiri Technologies INC is looking to hire experienced ABAP HANA RAP Developers through the Eazyway Platform. Candidates should have strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP, SAP HANA, RAP, modern ABAP development, CDS Views, Open SQL, OData services, and HANA performance optimization.

The ideal candidate should have experience developing HANA-optimized applications, implementing code pushdown, building complex CDS models, and developing transactional applications using the SAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).

Key Responsibilities

1. SAP ABAP & HANA Development

- Develop and maintain SAP applications using up-to-date ABAP development practices.
- Develop applications optimized for SAP HANA.
- Perform code pushdown wherever appropriate to leverage SAP HANA capabilities.
- Analyze and optimize ABAP programs for HANA database performance.
- Use modern Open SQL and minimize unnecessary database-intensive processing in the application layer.
- Develop scalable and high-performance SAP solutions.

1. CDS View Development & Data Modeling

- Develop and consume CDS Views for data modeling and application development.
- Develop complex CDS models using associations, joins, parameters, annotations, and aggregations.
- Work with case expressions and CDS view entities.
- Design efficient data models to support HANA-optimized applications.
- Troubleshoot and optimize CDS-based applications.

1. HANA Performance Optimization

- Analyze application and database performance in SAP HANA environments.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in ABAP programs and database queries.
- Perform performance analysis using tools such as ST05, SAT, SQL Monitor,



and SQL analysis tools.
- Apply appropriate code-pushdown techniques to improve application performance.
- Ensure efficient database access and query execution.

1. SAP RAP Development

- Develop transactional applications using the SAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
- Work with both managed and unmanaged RAP scenarios.
- Develop RAP data models, behavior definitions, behavior implementations, service definitions, and service bindings.
- Use CDS view entities as the foundation for RAP business objects.
- Develop RAP-based business applications following SAP development standards.

1. RAP Business Objects

- Implement RAP business objects supporting Create, Read, Update, and Delete operations.
- Develop custom actions and functions where required.
- Implement determinations and validations according to business requirements.
- Implement feature control and authorization control.
- Work with composition and association relationships within RAP business objects.
- Implement instance-level and global authorizations.
- Develop draft-enabled RAP applications.

1. OData & Service Development

- Develop and consume RAP-based OData services.
- Work with OData V4 services and understand OData V2 for legacy scenarios.
- Develop service definitions and service bindings.
- Troubleshoot RAP service and OData-related issues.
- Test RAP services using appropriate development.

1. Application Testing & Support





- Test RAP applications and services throughout the development lifecycle.
- Debug and troubleshoot behavior implementations and service issues.
- Analyze technical issues and implement appropriate solutions.
- Support existing RAP and ABAP HANA applications.
- Participate in code reviews and follow modern SAP development standards.

Experience & Qualifications

- Experience: 6–8 years of experience in SAP ABAP HANA development.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP ABAP and up-to-date ABAP development.
- Strong experience with SAP HANA development and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with SAP RAP.
- Strong experience developing and consuming CDS Views.
- Experience with complex CDS models, associations, joins, parameters, annotations, and aggregations.
- Strong understanding of HANA code pushdown techniques.
- Experience with modern Open SQL.
- Experience with performance analysis tools such as ST05, SAT, SQL Monitor, and SQL analysis tools.
- Hands-on experience with managed and unmanaged RAP scenarios.
- Experience with RAP behavior definitions and implementations.
- Experience with RAP service definitions and service bindings.
- Experience with OData V4 and understanding of OData V2.
- Experience developing draft-enabled RAP applications.
- Understanding of authorizations, validations, determinations, actions, and feature control.
- Experience integrating RAP services with SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
