Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Senior Developer (10+ years) to lead the design and development of robust, scalable SAP custom objects and solutions. The candidate should have hands-on expertise in RICEF objects, OO ABAP, interfaces, and HANA-based development. The ideal candidate should be a strong team leader with deep technical knowledge, adherence to development standards, and excellent debugging and performance tuning capabilities.

Mandatory Skills ABAP Senior Developer

1. SAP ABAP Core Development (10+ years)

- Strong hands-on experience in RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflow)

1. Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP)

- Expertise in developing custom programs using OO design patterns

1. Enhancement Techniques

- Proficiency in BADI, Customer Exits, User Exits, and the Enhancement Framework

1. Interface Development

- Hands-on experience with BAPI, RFC, Web Services, ODATA, and EDI/IDOC integrations

Forms Development

- Development of Smart Forms and Adobe Forms

1. Data Dictionary & TMG

- Solid understanding of all Data Dictionary objects including Table Maintenance Generator (TMG) events

1. HANA ABAP

- Practical knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP, and the RAP Framework

1. Performance Optimization & Debugging

- Ability to write optimized code, perform debugging, root cause analysis (RCA), and performance tuning

1. Development Standards & Documentation

- Adherence to development standards, preparation of Technical Design Specifications (TDS), and code reviews

1. Project Experience

- Must have worked on implementation, support, and upgrade projects in SAP

1. Soft Skills

- Strong communication, team leadership, and interpersonal skills

1. Work Mode & Location

- Willing to work in hybrid mode from Bangalore and ready for shift-based work
