We are looking for an experienced BPCS Solution Architect / Senior ERP Architect to lead the technical and functional solutioning of BPCS applications within the Legacy ERP environment.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in BPCS 3.2 on AS/400, with strong functional knowledge across Manufacturing, Financials, and Sales & Distribution. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, Business Analysts, development teams, and vendor partners to design, validate, and deliver scalable, secure, and supportable BPCS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead technical and functional solution architecture for BPCS ERP projects and enhancements.
- Manage the demand-to-build process from requirements through solution design and delivery.
- Work closely with Business Partners and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Review and validate technical design documents, system configurations, integrations, and proposed solutions.
- Provide architectural guidance to development teams and vendor build partners.
- Ensure solutions comply with SDLC, ITIL, Agile, application development, and delivery standards.
- Lead and coordinate internal teams, external development resources, and vendor partners.
- Ensure vendor deliverables meet agreed timelines, quality standards, and performance expectations.
- Support smooth build-to-run and production transition activities.
- Maintain stability, scalability, supportability, data integrity,



and business continuity of BPCS environments.
- Evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Work with senior IT leadership and executive business stakeholders on project execution and solution decisions.
- Support Legacy ERP strategy and contribute to overall IT/application strategy.

Required Skills & Experience

- 7+ years of professional experience with BPCS ERP systems.
- Strong experience with BPCS 3.2 on AS/400.
- Strong functional knowledge of BPCS modules:
- Manufacturing
- Financials
- Sales & Distribution
- Strong understanding of AS/400 / IBM i / iSeries environments.
- Experience with backend/database technologies including:
- DB2
- Progress
- Microsoft SQL Server
- iSeries database technologies
- Experience with third-party integrations with BPCS.
- Knowledge of RF technologies and reporting technologies supporting BPCS.
- Minimum 3+ years of project/program/delivery management experience.
- Experience leading internal and external technical resources.
- Experience working with vendor development/build partners.
- Experience with global system rollouts, including strategy, planning, vendor selection, and implementation planning.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, ITIL, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with process mapping, complex process documentation, and business process improvement.
- Experience working directly with senior management and executive business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to independently drive projects and initiatives from start to finish.
