Role Description The 3D Design intern will support the engineering and product development teams by creating 3D models and visual representations for embedded systems, PCB layouts, and industrial automation components. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing CAD models, refining design concepts, preparing graphics and visual assets for documentation or presentations, and collaborating with engineers to ensure designs meet functional and manufacturing requirements.

The intern will also assist with design research, exploring architectural layouts for enclosures or device housings,



and iterating on prototypes based on feedback. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Tamil Nadu, India, offering hands-on experience in a hardware-focused engineering environment.

Qualifications

- Strong Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills with the ability to create accurate 3D models and technical drawings.
- Graphic Design and Graphics skills to produce clear visualizations, renders, and design documentation.
- Research and Architecture-related skills to explore design concepts, spatial layouts, and structural considerations for products.
- Basic understanding of embedded systems, electronics, or mechanical components is an advantage.
- Ability to follow design guidelines, accept feedback constructively, and iterate on designs efficiently.
- Pursuing or completed a degree in Design, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in common CAD and visualization tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, or similar) is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and willingness to learn in a quick-paced, on-site environment.
