About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented 2D Interior Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of interior layouts, furniture detailing and construction drawings, along with an eye for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces for children.

You will work closely with the design team to develop concepts into accurate and practical 2D drawings that can be taken forward for execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed 2D floor plans, furniture layouts, elevations and sections.
- Develop working drawings and furniture detail drawings for kids’ rooms, schools, play areas and other children-focused spaces.
- Create accurate drawings based on design concepts and site measurements.
- Prepare detailed drawings for custom kids’ furniture, storage units, beds, study tables, lofts, play structures and activity areas.
- Coordinate dimensions, materials, finishes and construction details in drawings.
- Convert design concepts and 3D ideas into practical 2D drawings.
- Make revisions based on client, site and execution requirements.
- Coordinate with the senior designer, vendors, carpenters and site team when required.
- Ensure drawings are accurate, explicit and execution-friendly.




- Assist in preparing BOQs, material specifications and furniture schedules when required.
- Maintain organized drawing files and ensure drawings are issued in the required formats.

Requirements

- Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in interior design/drafting.
- Strong command of AutoCAD is essential.
- Knowledge of SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator or other design software is an advantage.
- Good understanding of furniture construction, materials, dimensions and detailing.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good understanding of scale, proportions and spatial planning.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- A creative mindset with an interest in kids’ interiors, furniture and playful spaces.
