Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Backend & Integration Developer to join the POQ Commerce App Squad and contribute to the development, enhancement, and support of backend services, APIs, and third-party integrations for the POQ Commerce platform.
The role will work closely with product owners, architects, frontend/mobile developers, QA, and other engineering teams to deliver reliable and scalable commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain .NET/C# backend services and APIs supporting POQ Commerce.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrations with internal and third-party systems.
Develop integration services for commerce, order, customer, payment, fulfilment, and other business capabilities.
Analyse requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide effective root-cause analysis and fixes.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, technical design, and deployment activities.




Ensure solutions follow enterprise security, performance, scalability, and coding standards.
Collaborate with SAP Commerce, mobile, frontend, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams.
Support Agile ceremonies including refinement, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement of the platform.

Required Skills

Robust hands-on experience with .NET / C# development.
Experience developing REST APIs and backend services.
Strong understanding of API integration patterns and third-party integrations.
Experience with JSON, HTTP, authentication, error handling, and API security.
Experience with Azure services / cloud-based integrations is preferred.
Experience with CI/CD, Git, and Agile development practices.
