(Sr. Manager / AGM - QA) for Oral Solid Dosage (OSD)

Location:- Jammu
Exp:- 15-20 yrs
Qualification:- B.Pharma/MSc Chemistry
CTC: 15-18 LPA

This role involves driving a robust culture of quality, managing a team of QA professionals, and bridging quality compliance with cross-functional operations to ensure seamless product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

 Team Handling and Leadership:

o Manage, mentor, and develop a large team across sub-departments, including
IPQA, Documentation, Validation, and Corporate QA.
o Establish explicit performance targets, identify training gaps, and build robust
succession plans for critical QA roles.
o Cultivate an active culture of quality compliance and data integrity (ALCOA+)
across the entire plant floor.
 Inter-Departmental Coordination:
o Production & Operations: Collaborate directly with manufacturing teams to resolve
floor issues, investigate deviations in real-time, and optimize OSD lines without
compromising compliance.
o Supply Chain & Regulatory Affairs: Coordinate on vendor qualifications, raw
material status,



and technical dossiers required for global regulatory submissions.
o Engineering & Maintenance: Work together on equipment qualification
(DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ), facility modifications, and preventive maintenance shutdowns.
 Quality Management Systems (QMS): Maintain site systems matching global rules.
 Batch Disposition & Audits: Make the final call to release or reject batches and
lead the site during regulatory inspections.

Requirements and Skills
Experience, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership or HOD capacity.
 Qualification :B.Pharma/MSc Chemistry
 OSD Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of tablets, capsules, and powder
manufacturing processes.
 People Management: Proven ability to manage conflict, build cohesive teams, and
lead technical professionals.
 Communication: Exceptional negotiation and communication skills to influence
other department heads and manage external regulatory auditors.
