Role & responsibilities

- To reconcile GST Tax liability and Input credit before filing GST returns
- Updated knowledge on GST and E way bill process
- Filing of GST annuals returns and ITC 04
- Liaison with Customs Department
- To verify checklist and process customs duty payment & SIMS payment
- To verify Freight and clearing invoices and to submit to accounts
- Supplementary payments / Liaison with Customers
- To reply to statutory notices on time
- Liaisoning with Bank for E BRC
- Experience in DBK & RoDTEP
- Statutory Compliance like AEO, LUT renewals etc.,

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, Taxation or related field; CA/CMA/M.Com/MBA Finance preferred.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in Commercial, GST, Taxation, Customs or Export/Import functions.
- Strong hands-on experience in GST compliance, GST reconciliation, GST returns and ITC-04.




- Good knowledge of Customs procedures, Export/Import documentation and customs duty.
- Experience in RoDTEP, Duty Drawback (DBK), e-BRC, LUT and AEO compliance is preferred.
- Knowledge of E-Way Bill, SIMS, freight and clearing processes.
- Experience in handling statutory notices and regulatory compliances.
- Robust coordination skills with Customs Authorities, Banks, Customers, CHA/Freight Forwarders and internal departments.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/SAP.
- Should have good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates who can independently handle commercial and taxation-related activities will be preferred.
- Candidates based in Chennai or willing to relocate to Chennai are preferred.
