Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain large-scale data pipelines using Cloudera ecosystem (Hadoop, Hive) to support business intelligence initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
- Develop complex SQL queries to extract insights from massive datasets stored in relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Troubleshoot issues related to data quality, performance tuning, and scalability of big data systems.
Job Requirements :
- 5-15 years of experience in a similar role as Data Engineer or equivalent position.
- Robust expertise in Python programming language with proficiency in PySpark for working with big data technologies like Apache Spark.
- Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP for deploying applications.
