Job Summary
A reputed restaurant in the Maldives is hiring an experienced Indian Cum Tandoori Chef for immediate placement. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in preparing authentic Indian cuisine and tandoor dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare authentic North Indian and Tandoori dishes, including kebabs, naan, roti, tikka, and curries.
- Operate and maintain the tandoor safely and efficiently.
- Ensure consistent taste, presentation, and quality of all dishes.
- Prepare marinades, sauces, and mise en place for daily kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the kitchen.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory and kitchen preparation.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food service.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Indian Cum Tandoori Chef in a reputed hotel or restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and tandoor cooking techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen workplace.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to join immediately.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: MVR equivalent of USD 350-400 per month.
- Additional Monthly Service Charge.
