Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior GIS Engineer/ GIS Engineer with 9-15 years of experience in GIS, Remote Sensing, LiDAR, Asset Management, and Infrastructure Planning. The candidate will lead enterprise-wide GIS initiatives, manage multidisciplinary teams, and support transportation, aviation, utilities, and smart city projects through advanced geospatial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

GIS Program & Project Management

- Lead large-scale GIS and geospatial data management projects.
- Manage project planning, execution, resource allocation, budgeting, and client interactions.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, consultants, survey teams, and engineering functions.
- Define project scope, schedules, deliverables, and quality standards.

Geospatial Data Management

- Develop and maintain enterprise geodatabases.
- Establish GIS data governance, standards, and quality control processes.
- Manage integration of spatial and non-spatial datasets.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards.

Road & Airport Asset Management

- Lead network-level road asset inventory and condition assessment programs.
- Oversee pavement management systems and infrastructure asset databases.
- Support airport safeguarding, obstacle limitation surveys, and aviation chart preparation.
- Develop long-term maintenance and capital investment plans.

LiDAR & Remote Sensing

- Manage LiDAR survey projects including data acquisition and processing.
- Supervise point cloud classification, DEM/DTM generation, and terrain modeling.
- Apply remote sensing techniques for infrastructure and urban planning applications.
- Monitor data processing workflows and quality assurance.

Spatial Analysis & Planning

- Perform advanced GIS analysis for transportation, utilities, and smart city projects.




- Conduct risk assessments, route optimization, terrain analysis, and suitability modeling.
- Develop dashboards, maps, and analytical reports for decision-makers.

Leadership & Team Management

- Lead GIS analysts, surveyors, data engineers, and QC teams.
- Mentor junior resources and establish best practices.
- Drive continuous process improvement and technology adoption.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Geomatics, GIS, Geography, Remote Sensing, or related field.
- Master's degree is preferred.
- PMP/Prince2 certification is an added advantage.
- GIS Certifications (Esri, Remote Sensing, LiDAR) preferred.

Experience

- 9-15 years of experience in GIS, Remote Sensing, Infrastructure Planning, or Geospatial Data Management.
