JOB SUMMARY

A reputed company in the Maldives is seeking an experienced and skilled Electrician to handle electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities across residential, commercial, or facility environments.

The ideal candidate should have solid practical knowledge of electrical systems and be capable of independently identifying and resolving electrical faults while following required safety procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting systems, switches, sockets, and distribution boards.
- Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults in residential, commercial, and facility environments.
- Carry out preventive and routine maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Inspect electrical installations to identify faults, defects, and potential safety hazards.
- Test electrical circuits, installations, and equipment using appropriate testing tools.
- Replace or repair faulty electrical components when required.
- Ensure all electrical work is completed safely and in accordance with applicable standards and company procedures.
- Maintain proper tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
- Report major electrical issues,



material requirements, and maintenance concerns to the supervisor.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform other electrical maintenance duties assigned by management.

ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience as an Electrician.
- Extensive hands-on experience in electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Experience in construction projects, hotels, commercial buildings, or facility maintenance will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, distribution systems, lighting, and electrical equipment.
- Ability to diagnose electrical faults and carry out appropriate repairs.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a maintenance team.
- Responsible, safety-conscious, and physically fit for electrical maintenance work.
- Passport-ready candidates will be preferred for immediate processing.
