We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Support Server & Cloud Specialist to join our growing team in Gurugram, India. In this mid-level role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our server infrastructure and cloud-based services. You will provide essential technical support, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT systems, directly impacting our ability to deliver exceptional service across our diverse portfolio of hotel properties.

Responsibilities

* Provide technical support and resolution for server-related issues, including hardware, operating systems (Windows Server, Linux), and virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).

* Manage and maintain our cloud infrastructure, primarily within Azure, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and identity management.

* Monitor server and cloud system performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions to prevent downtime.

* Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery planning, and ensure data integrity and security.

* Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of new server and cloud resources.

* Collaborate with global IT teams to implement best practices and ensure consistency across our international operations.

* Document IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for internal knowledge base.





* Respond to and resolve IT support tickets related to server and cloud infrastructure in a timely and productive manner.

* Participate in on-call rotation for critical incidents as required.

Requirements

* Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in IT support with a strong focus on server administration and cloud technologies.

* Solid understanding of Windows Server operating systems (e.g., 2016, 2019, 2022) including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.

* Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure VMs, Azure Networking, Azure AD).

* Familiarity with virtualisation technologies such as VMware ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V.

* Knowledge of network protocols and services (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls).

* Experience with backup and recovery solutions.

* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have

* Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, MCSA: Windows Server, or equivalent.

* Experience with Linux operating systems.

* Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools.

* Understanding of IT security best practices and principles.

* Experience in the hospitality industry.
