Ask Digital Agency is a digital marketing agency working with businesses across SEO, social media marketing, paid advertising, website development, and content creation.

We are looking for a video editor to join our remote team and handle short-form video content for our clients and agency.

About the Role

You will be responsible for editing engaging videos primarily for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms.

You should have a good understanding of pacing, hooks, captions, music, transitions, and visual storytelling. The ideal candidate can take raw footage and turn it into polished, platform-ready content with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

- Edit Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
- Edit talking-head, promotional, and social media videos
- Add captions, subtitles, music, sound effects, and transitions
- Create engaging openings and maintain good video pacing
- Repurpose longer videos into short-form content
- Follow client-specific editing styles and brand guidelines
- Make revisions based on feedback
- Manage multiple video projects and meet deadlines
- Maintain consistent quality across all client videos
- Coordinate with the social media and marketing team

Requirements
- 1–2 years of professional video editing experience
- Solid portfolio of Instagram Reels or short-form videos




- Good knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar editing software
- Understanding of short-form content and social media trends
- Positive sense of timing, transitions, captions, and music
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Ability to handle multiple client projects

Good to Have
- Basic motion graphics and text animation skills
- Experience editing videos for doctors, healthcare brands, clinics, or hospitals
- Understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form content
- Ability to edit doctor-led educational and informational videos
- Basic thumbnail design and editing skills
- Experience creating promotional, educational, and social media video
- Experience with before/after, patient education, testimonial, and clinic promotional videos

Salary

₹20,000 per month

This is a full-time remote position. Candidates should have their own laptop/desktop and the necessary video editing software.
