Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and highly skilled Test Rider / Suspension Ride Evaluator with solid expertise in Vehicle Dynamics, Two-Wheeler Riding, Suspension Evaluation, and Ride Handling Assessment. The role involves conducting subjective and objective vehicle evaluations, suspension tuning, benchmarking, and test track activities to support product development and achieve best-in-class ride and handling performance.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Dynamics & Ride Evaluation

- Conduct subjective ride, handling, and comfort evaluations of two-wheelers.
- Evaluate vehicle dynamics characteristics including stability, steering response, body control, and ride quality.
- Perform suspension tuning and recommend improvements based on rider feedback and test results.
- Correlate subjective feedback with objective measurement data.
- Benchmark competitor vehicles and identify performance gaps.
- Define target ride and handling attributes based on customer requirements.

Testing & Development
- Execute vehicle testing on proving grounds and test tracks.
- Validate suspension performance through various road and track conditions.
- Analyze data from wheel travel sensors, accelerometers, IMUs, and suspension stroke measurements.
- Support root cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to vehicle dynamics.




- Optimize front-rear vehicle balance and suspension settings.

Test Track Operations & Safety
- Ensure safe operation of proving grounds and test activities.
- Coordinate daily testing schedules with the test track management team.
- Monitor vehicle condition and readiness for testing.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and use of riding protective equipment.
- Participate in emergency response, first aid, and rescue operations when required.

Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Vehicle Dynamics and Ride Handling
- Expertise in Two-Wheeler Riding Techniques
- Hands-on experience in Suspension Tuning and Evaluation
- Understanding of chassis behavior, weight distribution, steering geometry, and handling characteristics
- Data analysis and interpretation skills
- Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving
- Benchmarking and Product Evaluation
- Excellent communication and feedback articulation skills
- Passion for motorcycles, riding, and automotive technology

Must Have
- Strong expertise in Vehicle Dynamics
- Excellent Two-Wheeler Riding Skills
- Knowledge of Suspension Systems and Tuning Methodologies
- Experience in Ride & Handling Evaluation
- Ability to provide technical riding feedback to development teams

Preferred Experience
- 3-10 years of experience in Vehicle Testing, Ride & Handling, Vehicle Dynamics, or Suspension Development.
- Experience with OEMs, automotive suppliers, proving grounds, or R&D; organizations.
