Job Brief: JSW Steel Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead and manage the Human Resource functions within our manufacturing unit. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities to oversee workforce planning, employee relations, compliance, and talent development. The ideal candidate will drive HR initiatives that align with the company’s operational goals, ensuring a productive, safe, and compliant work environment.

This position requires a deep understanding of manufacturing industry dynamics, labor laws, and best HR practices to support the company’s growth and employee engagement objectives.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage all HR operations within the manufacturing unit, ensuring alignment with JSW Steel Limited’s strategic objectives.
- Develop and implement workforce planning strategies to meet production demands and optimize labor utilization.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention programs tailored to the manufacturing environment.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies across the unit.
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution,



and grievance handling to maintain a positive work culture.
- Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and support career progression.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational change initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Drive performance management processes, including appraisals, feedback, and succession planning.
- Lead health, safety, and welfare initiatives to promote a secure working environment in line with industry standards.

Preferred Qualifications

- Minimum 7-10 years of progressive HR experience in the manufacturing sector, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
