Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and technology-driven Team Lead -Legal Technology to drive digital transformation within the Legal function. The role will be responsible for implementing and managing legal technology solutions, automating legal processes, enhancing contract lifecycle management, improving legal operations efficiency, and supporting data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of legal processes combined with expertise in legal technology platforms, workflow automation, document management systems, analytics, AI-enabled legal tools, and digital compliance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Legal Technology Strategy & Implementation

- Lead the adoption and implementation of legal technology solutions across the organization.

- Develop and execute the Legal Technology roadmap aligned with business and compliance objectives.

- Evaluate, recommend, and deploy technology platforms to improve legal operations and service delivery.

- Collaborate with Legal, IT, Compliance, Risk, and Business teams to identify technology requirements.

Legal Operations & Process Automation
- Streamline and automate legal workflows and approval processes.

- Design and implement solutions for contract lifecycle management (CLM).

- Improve efficiency through workflow automation, digital documentation, and self-service legal tools.

- Monitor process performance and recommend continuous improvements.

Contract & Document Management
- Manage legal document repositories and knowledge management systems.

- Ensure effective version control, document security, and governance standards.

- Support digitization and automation of contract generation, review, storage, and retrieval processes.

Data Analytics & Reporting
- Develop dashboards and reports to monitor legal operations performance.

- Analyse legal data, contract metrics, dispute trends, and compliance indicators.





- Generate actionable insights for management decision-making.

Compliance & Risk Technology
- Support implementation of compliance monitoring tools and regulatory tracking platforms.

- Ensure legal technology systems comply with data privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements.

- Participate in risk assessments related to legal technology solutions.

AI & Emerging Legal Technologies
- Evaluate and implement AI-powered legal research, document review, and contract analysis solutions.

- Stay updated on developments in LegalTech, Artificial Intelligence, and automation trends.

- Promote innovation and digital transformation initiatives within the legal function.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with LegalTech vendors and service providers.

- Coordinate system upgrades, integrations, and user support activities.

- Conduct training programs and user adoption initiatives for legal technology platforms.

Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor legal technology and legal operations team members.

- Establish best practices, governance frameworks, and operating procedures.

- Drive a culture of digital innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

- Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB), Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline.

- Dual qualifications in Law and Technology will be an added advantage.

- Certifications in Legal Operations, LegalTech Platforms, Project Management, or Automation Tools are preferred.

Experience
- 7“12 years of experience in Legal Operations, Legal Technology, Compliance Technology, Contract Management Systems, or Digital Transformation.

- Experience implementing LegalTech platforms, document management systems,



workflow automation solutions, or contract lifecycle management systems.

- Experience in corporate legal departments, financial services, technology, consulting, or related industries preferred.
