About the Role
Iskra Counselling Centre is seeking a Student Counselor for a full time remote role supporting teenagers and young adults with academic, personal, and transitional concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote individual counselling to students.
- Support academic pressure, exam anxiety, motivation, peer relationships, adjustment, and career uncertainty.
- Offer practical coping, study-wellbeing, and emotional-regulation strategies.
- Deliver psychoeducational sessions or workshops when required.
- Recognise safeguarding, self-harm, abuse, or other risk concerns and escalate appropriately.
- Maintain confidential records and refer needs outside the counselor’s scope.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, Applied Psychology, or a closely related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience with students, teenagers, or young adults preferred; candidates with additional experience may also apply.
- Understanding of developmental needs, student wellbeing, safeguarding, and confidentiality.
- Strong communication, organisation, and remote-engagement skills.
- Professional registration, certification, or licence where required by applicable regulations.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
