Key Responsibilities
- Receive raw materials, consumables, spare parts, packing materials, and other items.
- Verify received materials against Purchase Orders, delivery challans, and invoices.
- Coordinate with Quality, Purchase, and Production teams for material inspection and acceptance.
- Properly store and arrange materials with appropriate identification and labeling.
- Issue materials to Production and other departments against authorized material requisitions.
- Maintain accurate stock records in SAP/software and physical registers.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and report discrepancies.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure safe storage of materials.
- Support cycle counts and annual physical stock verification.
- Prepare and maintain GRN, material issue, return, transfer, and other stores-related documents.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and inform the Stores Manager about shortages.
- Ensure proper handling of damaged, rejected, excess, and obsolete materials.
- Follow company safety procedures and 5S practices.
Qualification & Experience
- ITI / Diploma / Graduate in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in Stores/Warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing company.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and ERP systems.
- Basic computer skills, particularly MS Excel.

2. – Stores Manager

Job Purpose To manage the complete stores and warehouse operations, ensuring timely availability of materials, accurate inventory, efficient material movement, proper documentation, and effective inventory control.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and control all stores and warehouse activities.
- Manage receipt, inspection, storage, preservation, and issue of materials.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials, consumables, spares, packing materials, and other items required for production.
- Establish and maintain proper inventory control systems.
- Monitor minimum, maximum, reorder, and safety stock levels.
- Ensure accurate stock records in ERP and physical inventory.
- Conduct periodic cycle counts and coordinate annual physical stock verification.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, shortages, and excess inventory.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, Maintenance, Finance, and other departments.
- Ensure proper GRN, material issue, material return, stock transfer, and other documentation.
- Implement FIFO/FEFO and appropriate storage practices.
- Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, excess, obsolete, and rejected materials.
- Ensure proper identification, labeling, bin location, and systematic storage of materials.
- Lead and monitor Stores/warehouse staff and allocate daily responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, 5S, and audit requirements.
- Develop and improve stores processes to reduce inventory holding costs and material handling time.
- Prepare inventory reports and provide regular updates to management.
- Support internal, external, and customer audits related to inventory and stores.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure protected material handling practices.
Qualification & Experience
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech / Graduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related discipline.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in Stores/Warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or other inventory management software is preferred.
- Good knowledge of inventory management and warehouse practices.
