About the Role

Healic Hospital is looking for a compassionate, skilled, and responsible Staff Nurse to join the Gynae Department. The candidate will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to female patients, assisting doctors during consultations and procedures, monitoring patients, administering medications, and ensuring proper patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients admitted under the Gynaecology department.
- Monitor and record vital signs and patients' clinical conditions.
- Assist patients with pre-operative and post-operative care.
- Ensure proper hygiene, comfort, and safety of patients.
- Observe patients for any changes in condition and promptly inform the concerned doctor.

Clinical Responsibilities

- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and other treatments as prescribed.
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and minor/major interventions.
- Prepare patients for surgeries and other procedures as per hospital protocols.
- Provide post-operative care and monitor recovery.
- Maintain accurate nursing notes, patient records, and treatment documentation.

OT & Procedure Assistance

- Assist doctors and the OT team during Gynaecological procedures and surgeries.
- Ensure required instruments, medicines, and supplies are available before procedures.
- Follow proper sterilization and infection-control protocols.
- Maintain readiness of emergency equipment and essential supplies.





Patient & Attendant Coordination

- Communicate professionally with patients and attendants regarding routine nursing care.
- Provide appropriate instructions related to medication, procedures, and post-operative care as directed by doctors.
- Address patient concerns and coordinate with the concerned department whenever required.

Coordination & Handover

- Coordinate with doctors, OT staff, nursing staff, laboratory, pharmacy, and other hospital departments.
- Provide proper patient handover during shift changes.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and medical records.
- Follow hospital policies, nursing protocols, and patient-safety standards.

Requirements
- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid nursing registration.
- Experience in Gynae / Obstetrics & Gynaecology will be preferred.
- Experience in OT, IPD, labour room, or post-operative care will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of nursing procedures, medication administration, and infection-control practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts.

Experience

Freshers with relevant clinical exposure may be considered.

Candidates with experience in Gynae/Obstetrics will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
