Role Description The Staff Pharmacist is a full-time, on-site role based at Fortis Hospital Greater Noida in Noida. The role involves accurately dispensing medications, verifying prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing medication orders, checking for drug interactions and contraindications, and providing transparent counseling and education to patients and clinical staff on proper medication use.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and hospital pharmacy practices, with the ability to review and validate prescriptions for safety and accuracy.
- Proficiency in medication dispensing, dosage calculation, and inventory management, including handling of controlled and high-risk medications.
- Ability to use hospital information systems, electronic medical records, and pharmacy software for documentation and order processing.
- Excellent communication and counseling skills to educate patients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to medication safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance.
- Registered Pharmacist with a valid license; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting is preferred; familiarity with JCI/NABH or similar healthcare accreditation standards is an advantage.
- Ability to work in rotating shifts, adapt to fast-paced environments, and maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
