Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Technical Consultant with robust expertise in S/4HANA, ABAP on HANA, RAP, CDS Views, and SAP BTP ABAP Environment . The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, testing, and supporting SAP solutions across the enterprise landscape while adhering to SAP Clean Core principles.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing and managing WRICEF objects , SAP extensions, workflow development, API integrations, transport management, performance optimization, and end-to-end delivery of SAP technical solutions. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and project teams to deliver scalable and high-performing SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

SAP ABAP Development & Customization

- Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP solutions in S/4HANA environments.
- Design and develop custom reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, workflows, and forms (WRICEF objects).
- Customize and enhance standard SAP functionalities to meet business requirements.
- Build technical solutions adhering to SAP best practices and Clean Core principles.

S/4HANA & BTP Development

- Develop side-by-side extensions using SAP BTP ABAP Environment.
- Leverage ABAP on HANA capabilities including CDS Views, RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model), and code pushdown techniques.
- Implement modern SAP development approaches for cloud-ready applications.

Integration & Technical Design

- Design and develop APIs, Proxy interfaces, and integration solutions.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP technical designs.




- Prepare technical specifications and development documentation.

Project Delivery & Quality Assurance

- Manage design, development, testing, and deployment activities across development, quality, and production environments.
- Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing.
- Ensure successful delivery of technical solutions within project timelines.

Transport & Release Management

- Manage transport requests and deployment activities using SAP Solution Manager/ChaRM.
- Support release planning and change management processes.
- Ensure governance and compliance of SAP transports across landscapes.

Performance Optimization

- Analyze and optimize SAP applications and custom code for performance improvements.
- Utilize HANA database capabilities to enhance system performance.
- Conduct code reviews and implement optimization recommendations.

Collaboration & Support

- Work closely with business users, functional consultants, architects, and project teams.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support.
- Participate in solution design workshops and technical discussions.

The ideal candidate should possess :

- Strong S/4HANA ABAP development experience (10 years)
- Hands-on expertise in WRICEF development
- Experience with SAP BTP ABAP Environment and Clean Core principles
- Strong knowledge of APIs, ALE/IDoc, RAP, CDS Views, and HANA optimization
- Experience in transport management, testing, and production support
- Good communication, analytical, and solution-design skills
