Role Overview

We’re seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the financial health and daily accounting operations of our company. You will drive financial reporting, tax compliance, cost accounting, and cash flow management to ensure the fiscal efficiency and profitability of our heavy-engineering and workshop services.

Key Responsibilities

- Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain precise daily records of all financial transactions using accounting software.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring timely payments to raw material vendors (e.g., copper, insulation suppliers) and prompt invoicing for completed workshop projects.
- Cost Accounting & Inventory Management
- Implement and oversee job-costing methods to track the exact costs associated with individual motor rewind and transformer overhaul projects.
- Monitor and reconcile inventory valuations for raw materials, workshop tools, and work-in-progress to optimize budget utilization.
- Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Calculate, prepare, and file monthly/quarterly statutory returns, including GST, TDS, PF, and ESI.
- Ensure strict adherence to Indian Accounting Standards and local financial regulations.
- Reporting & Reconciliation
- Perform regular bank, vendor, and ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and monthly MIS reports for senior management to track workshop profitability.




- Audit & Financial Planning
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors, ensuring all financial documentation and ledgers are accurate and readily available.
- Assist management in preparing annual budgets, forecasting financial needs, and implementing cost-control measures across workshop operations.

Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or Finance. Candidates with CA Inter or CMA (ICWA) Inter qualifications are highly preferred.
- Experience:
- 4–7 years of proven accounting experience.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Expertise in Tally Prime.
- Deep understanding of current GST structures, TDS, and corporate taxation rules.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a strong advantage.
- Leadership & Soft Skills:
- Meticulous attention to detail, high integrity, and strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Transparent communicator in English and Hindi; capable of liaising effectively with procurement teams, workshop managers, and external vendors.
