Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced banking professional, preferably a retired General Manager / Deputy General Manager from a reputed Nationalised / Public Sector Bank , to lead and advise the organisation on financial strategy, project finance, debt syndication and banking relationships.
The role will be responsible for leveraging extensive banking expertise to facilitate fund raising, project finance, debt restructuring, working capital management and strategic financial planning for the Group.

Key Responsibilities

Lead debt syndication and fund-raising initiatives for residential and commercial real-estate projects.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with PSU Banks, Private Banks, NBFCs and Financial Institutions .
Identify and structure suitable project finance, construction finance, LRD, working capital and other debt facilities .
Evaluate project feasibility, financial viability, cash flows and funding requirements.
Drive negotiations with financial institutions on interest rates, security structures, repayment terms, covenants and financing limits .
Support the management in developing long-term financial and capital-raising strategies .
Oversee banking documentation, sanction processes, disbursements and compliance requirements.
Assist in debt restructuring, refinancing and optimisation of existing financial facilities .
Monitor project-wise financial requirements, cash flows, repayment schedules and utilisation of funds.




Provide strategic guidance on financial risk management and treasury operations .
Coordinate with Finance, Accounts, Legal, Projects and senior management for timely financial closures.
Keep the management updated on banking policies, lending norms, regulatory developments and financing opportunities .
Support the organisation in building a strong and diversified institutional banking network .

Candidate Profile

Retired GM / DGM / senior executive from a Nationalised or Public Sector Bank .
Solid experience in Corporate Banking, Project Finance, Credit, Debt Syndication or Large-Value Lending .
Preferably experienced in financing Real Estate / Infrastructure / Construction projects .
Strong understanding of credit appraisal, project viability, security structures and financial documentation.
Established relationships with senior officials across banks, NBFCs and financial institutions .
Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Strong understanding of banking regulations, credit policies and financial risk management.
Ability to work closely with promoters and senior management on strategic financial decisions.
