Role Description The Senior Social Worker at HAIR RAP BY YOYO will provide professional psychosocial support to clients and team members, helping to create a safe, inclusive, and emotionally supportive salon workplace. This full-time, on-site role in Ahmedabad involves conducting client assessments to understand their needs, offering counseling and guidance, and making referrals to appropriate community resources when necessary.
The Senior Social
Worker will design and implement well-being initiatives, workshops, and support programs to enhance mental and emotional health for both clients and staff. Daily tasks include maintaining accurate case records,
collaborating with management to address complex client situations, and promoting ethical, person-centered care throughout the salon experience.
Qualifications
- Qualified social work expertise, including client assessment, counseling, case management, and referral skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to build trust with diverse clients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of mental health, trauma-informed practice, and community resources relevant to client support and well-being.
- Skills in program development, such as designing workshops, support groups, or wellness initiatives within a salon or service environment.
- Ability to maintain confidential records, manage multiple cases, and use basic computer applications for documentation and reporting.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a closely related field; relevant licensure or registration as required by local regulations.
- Experience in community, clinical, or organizational social work settings; prior work in lifestyle, wellness, or service industries is an advantage.
