Job Title: Senior M365 & Migration Technician
Job Description:
The Senior M365 & Migration Technician will help lead and support Microsoft 365 initiatives with a strong focus on tenant-to-tenant migrations. This role requires hands-on expertise with M365 platform engineering, migration tooling ( preferably Quest and Sharegate ), and cross-regional collaboration with teams in the US, UK, and India. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable working Indian evening hours to align with US Eastern Time operations. Experience with divestiture projects and environment with global clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, execute and support M365 tenant-to-tenant migrations including Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams and related services.
Use Quest and Sharegate migration tools to manage large-scale, complex migration activities.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize M365 services to ensure performance, security, and availability.
Conduct root cause analysis on platform issues and implement long-term corrective measures.
Work closely with cross-functional teams across India, UK, and US regions to coordinate migration schedules and project deliverables.




Prepare and maintain documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
Participate in and potentially lead meetings with stakeholders across regions; provide clear and professional communication.
Support change control processes and ensure all operational changes follow governance requirements.

Qualifications:

Minimum 7+ years of IT experience with core expertise in Microsoft 365 and cloud collaboration platforms.
Proven experience delivering end-to-end M365 tenant-to-tenant migrations.
Hands-on experience with Quest and Sharegate migration tooling strongly preferred.
Strong PowerShell knowledge with advance reporting capabilities.
Solid knowledge of Entra ID, SSO, MFA, security hardening, and identity lifecycle management.
Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate with US and UK teams.
Ability to work Indian evening hours to support US ET time zone operations.
Strong decision-making, analytical, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
