nWe are looking for an experienced Senior PHP & WordPress Developer to join our international team in a long-term, 100% work-from-home role .

nThis position requires a highly skilled developer who can work independently, take ownership of projects, communicate effectively with internal teams and clients, and consistently deliver high-quality work .

nThe role involves hands-on custom WordPress and PHP development, Elementor development, HTML-to-Elementor conversion, WooCommerce customisation, API integrations, performance optimisation, AEO/SEO implementation and technical leadership .

nYour expertise in custom WordPress theme and plugin development, PHP, Elementor, front-end development and AI-assisted development is essential .

Position Overview nLead the development and maintenance of custom WordPress websites, WooCommerce functionality, themes, plugins and Elementor-based websites .

nBuild, enhance and support applications using Core PHP and frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter or CakePHP .

nDevelop custom WordPress functionality using hooks, filters, custom post types, taxonomies and custom fields .

nBuild responsive websites using Elementor and Elementor Pro .

nConvert supplied HTML/CSS pages, designs or templates into accurate, fully editable Elementor websites.

nReproduce supplied layouts, typography, spacing, colours, interactions and responsive behaviour accurately across desktop, tablet and mobile.

nCreate reusable Elementor templates, sections, containers and components while maintaining clean structure and avoiding unnecessary page-builder bloat.

nUse custom CSS, JavaScript and jQuery where Elementor’s native functionality is insufficient.

nCustomise and enhance front-end experiences using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery .

nEnsure Core Web Vitals, page performance, caching strategies and development best practices are consistently implemented.

nImplement and optimise websites for AEO-SEO (Answer Engine Optimisation / AI Search Readiness) , including structured data, schema markup, semantic HTML, performance and technical SEO.

nDevelop and integrate REST APIs, third-party services, CRMs, payment gateways and external platforms .

nMaintain strong focus on web security, OWASP principles, safe coding standards and platform stability .

nEnsure compliance with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards ,

Essential Skills & Experience nMinimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in PHP and WordPress development.

nStrong expertise in Core PHP and Object-Oriented PHP .

nStrong experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins .

nAdvanced knowledge of WordPress hooks, filters, custom post types, taxonomies and custom fields .

nStrong WooCommerce development and customisation experience.

nStrong Elementor and Elementor Pro experience.

nProven experience converting HTML/CSS designs or templates into Elementor websites.

nAbility to accurately reproduce supplied HTML designs inside Elementor while maintaining responsiveness, performance and editability .

nAdvanced proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery .

nStrong responsive front-end development experience.

nDeep understanding of MySQL, database architecture and query optimisation .

nExperience using Claude as part of web development, UI/UX and design-to-development workflows is expected.
