Job Title: Senior AV & Technology Head

Designation: Senior Manager / AGM / DGM – AV & Technology (Final designation will be decided based on experience and interview)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced AV & Technology professional who can provide technical leadership across CS Direkt’s museum, heritage, immersive experience, Sound & Light, projection mapping and experiential technology projects.

The person will be responsible for leading the technical function from concept and design through execution, commissioning and O&M;, while working closely with management, project teams, consultants, clients, creative teams, OEMs and technology partners.

This role is not limited to equipment knowledge. The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in AV and experiential technology projects, sound technical judgement, the ability to solve complex site-level problems, and the capability to lead teams and take ownership of technical outcomes.

The candidate should be able to understand a project requirement, develop the appropriate technology approach, guide the team in execution, identify risks, evaluate technical solutions, negotiate with technology partners and ensure successful delivery at site.

Key Responsibilities

- Technical Leadership

- Lead the overall technical direction for AV, immersive technology, projection mapping, Sound & Light and experiential technology projects.
- Translate project requirements, creative concepts and visitor experience objectives into practical and reliable technical solutions.
- Review and guide system architecture, technology selection and integration strategies.
- Take ownership of technical decisions and provide solutions when projects face design, integration or site-level challenges.
- Review technical proposals, designs, BOQs, specifications and system configurations prepared by the team.
- Ensure that technology solutions are practical, scalable, maintainable and commercially viable.

2. Project Experience & Execution
- Lead and guide technical teams during design, procurement, installation, integration, testing and commissioning.
- Provide technical direction across multiple projects and sites simultaneously.
- Review project progress and identify technical risks,



dependencies and potential delays at an early stage.
- Support project teams in resolving technical issues during installation and commissioning.
- Participate in critical site inspections, testing, commissioning and client demonstrations.
- Ensure that systems are delivered as per approved design, performance requirements and project objectives.

3. AV & Experiential Technology Knowledge

- Strong practical understanding of professional AV systems and their integration in museums, heritage sites, visitor centres, theme parks, cultural spaces and experiential environments.
- Valuable understanding of projection systems, projection mapping, immersive environments, professional audio, lighting, show-control, media servers, interactive systems and automation.
- Understanding of system synchronization, networking, signal flow and integration between different technology platforms.
- Ability to evaluate different technology approaches based on project requirements rather than being dependent on a particular brand or equipment.
- Should be able to understand technical limitations, performance requirements, site conditions and operational requirements before finalizing a solution.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and their practical application in museums and experiential projects.

4. OEM & Technology Partner Management (National and international)
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with leading AV and technology OEMs, system integrators and specialist vendors.
- Evaluate technology partners based on technical capability, project experience, support infrastructure, service capability and commercial terms.
- Lead technical discussions and negotiations with OEMs and vendors.
- Obtain technical clarifications, alternatives and value-engineering options wherever required.
- Ensure appropriate technical support from OEMs during installation,



commissioning and O&M.;
- Build a reliable technology partner network for future projects.

5. Troubleshooting & Problem Solving

- Take ownership of critical technical issues during installation, commissioning and live operation.
- Diagnose complex AV, show-control, projection, audio, networking and integration-related problems.
- Guide site teams and vendors in resolving recurring technical issues.
- Remain calm and solution-oriented during live-show failures, critical demonstrations and VIP/client visits.
- Develop preventive measures to reduce system downtime and recurring failures.
- Analyse failures and ensure that corrective actions are implemented.

6. O&M; and Technical Performance
- Provide technical leadership for ongoing O&M; of Sound & Light shows, museums and experiential installations.
- Establish technical standards for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, system health checks and performance monitoring.
- Review recurring breakdowns and recommend permanent corrective measures.
- Guide site teams in maintaining system performance and operational reliability.
- Conduct periodic technical audits of important projects.
- Support AMC/O&M; planning, manpower requirements, spare strategy and OEM support requirements.

7. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor AV engineers, technicians, site engineers and technical managers.
- Assess the technical capability of team members and identify training requirements.
- Develop technical processes, SOPs and standard practices across projects.
- Encourage knowledge sharing and create a strong technical culture within the organization.
- Build second-line technical leadership capable of independently handling projects and sites.
- Ensure proper coordination between central technical teams and site teams.

8. Documentation & Technical Standards
- Ensure proper preparation and review of technical documentation including:
- System design documents
- Technical specifications
- Equipment schedules
- Signal-flow diagrams
- Method statements
- Testing and commissioning procedures
- SOPs
- O&M; manuals
- As-built documentation

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹110,000.00 per month
