Role Overview

Neurons AI is seeking an energetic and commercially driven Sales Intern – AI Products to support the sales and business development of our artificial intelligence solutions, including industrial digital twins, predictive analytics, process optimisation, EarthScience.AI and enterprise AI platforms.

This is a customer-facing sales internship suitable for candidates interested in building a career in AI product sales, technical sales and business development.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify prospective customers across mining, mineral processing, metals, steel, cement, manufacturing, energy and other industrial sectors.
- Generate qualified leads through market research, LinkedIn, email campaigns, telephone outreach and industry databases.
- Contact prospective customers and schedule product demonstrations and business meetings.
- Assist the sales team in presenting AI products, digital twins and analytics solutions.
- Understand customer requirements and document their operational challenges.
- Prepare company presentations, product notes, proposals, quotations and customer-specific sales materials.
- Support the development of techno-commercial proposals and proof-of-concept opportunities.
- Coordinate with AI engineers, developers and domain experts to obtain technical information for customers.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, follow-ups and sales opportunities.
- Update the customer relationship management system and prepare weekly sales reports.
- Follow up consistently with prospective customers and support the movement of opportunities through the sales pipeline.
- Conduct competitor analysis and track developments in artificial intelligence, industrial automation and digital transformation.
- Support participation in exhibitions,



conferences, webinars and customer events.
- Assist with professional social-media outreach and digital campaigns for lead generation.
- Travel for customer meetings, industry events and product demonstrations when required.
- Work toward defined lead-generation, meeting and sales-support targets.

Candidate Profile
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science Engineering preferred.
- Candidates from related engineering or technology disciplines may also apply.
- Basic working knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, IoT or digital twins is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI tools and a strong interest in AI product sales are essential.
- Knowledge of Python, APIs, cloud platforms or data-visualisation tools will be an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence in speaking with customers and senior business professionals.
- Ability to understand technical products and communicate their business value clearly.
- Good presentation, research, documentation and follow-up skills.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented and willing to work in a rapid-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel within India when required.

Learning and Career Opportunity The intern will receive practical exposure to AI product sales, industrial digital transformation, customer engagement, technical demonstrations and techno-commercial proposal development. High-performing interns may be considered for a full-time sales position based on performance, capability and organisational requirements.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
