We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Ruby on Rails Developer to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of Ruby on Rails and web development, along with a strong willingness to learn, contribute, and grow in a professional environment.

This is an entry-level opportunity suitable for candidates with 0–1 year of skilled experience. Freshers with relevant academic projects, internships, or hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Assist in developing and maintaining RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to build responsive and user-friendly web interfaces.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Assist in identifying and resolving application bugs and technical issues.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Work with MVC architecture, databases, and RESTful APIs.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure application quality.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards and best practices.
- Work collaboratively in an Agile development workplace, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.




- Stay updated with relevant technologies, tools, and best practices in web development.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 0–1 year of experience in software development.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
- Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful API concepts.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Basic understanding of debugging and software testing.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Ruby on Rails through academic projects, internships, or personal projects.
- Basic knowledge of React or other JavaScript frameworks.
- Familiarity with AWS, Heroku, or other cloud platforms.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
- Knowledge of TDD (Test-Driven Development) is a plus.
