About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Accounts & Finance to lead and oversee the complete finance and accounting function of a reputed Real Estate Developer / Builder organization.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the real estate development industry, with a proven track record in financial planning, project finance, accounting, taxation, cash-flow management, budgeting, MIS, statutory compliance, audits, and financial strategy.

Candidates from reputed real estate developer groups such as M3M, Bhutani, Sikka, Aditya or similar established developer organizations will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Strategy & Leadership

- Develop and implement the organization's overall financial strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CMD/CEO/Management.
- Lead and manage the Accounts & Finance team across the organization.
- Establish strong financial controls, processes, SOPs, and reporting systems.

2. Project Finance & Real Estate Accounting

- Oversee complete financial management of ongoing and upcoming real estate projects.
- Monitor project-wise profitability, cost, revenue, receivables, payables, and cash flows.
- Ensure proper accounting and financial tracking of land, construction, development, and project-related expenses.
- Monitor project budgets against actual expenditure and identify variances.
- Ensure effective utilization and allocation of project funds.

3. Cash Flow & Fund Management

- Prepare and monitor short-term and long-term cash-flow projections.
- Manage working capital and ensure optimum liquidity.
- Plan fund requirements according to project milestones and business needs.
- Monitor collections, payments, vendor liabilities, and financial commitments.
- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for funding and banking requirements.

4. Budgeting & MIS

- Drive annual budgeting and forecasting processes.




- Prepare project-wise and company-level financial projections.
- Review monthly MIS, profitability statements, cash-flow reports, and management dashboards.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reports to the senior management.
- Analyze financial performance and recommend corrective actions wherever required.

5. Accounts & Financial Reporting

- Ensure accurate and timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
- Supervise preparation of Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow Statements, and other financial reports.
- Ensure proper reconciliation of bank, vendor, customer, project, and statutory accounts.
- Strengthen internal accounting controls and financial reporting systems.

6. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Oversee timely filing of returns and statutory payments.
- Coordinate with tax consultants, statutory auditors, internal auditors, and other professional advisors.
- Ensure proper handling of tax assessments, notices, audits, and compliance matters.

7. Audit & Internal Controls

- Lead statutory, internal, tax, and financial audits.
- Establish and monitor robust internal financial controls.
- Identify financial risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
- Ensure transparency, accuracy, and compliance in all financial transactions.

8. Farvision ERP

- Must be an Expert-level user of Farvision ERP.
- Oversee finance and accounting operations through Farvision.
- Ensure proper implementation, configuration, controls, and utilization of the ERP system.
- Monitor project accounting, billing, collections, payables, MIS, and financial reporting through Farvision.
- Coordinate with the Farvision/ERP team for system-related issues, customization, and process improvements.

9. Management Coordination

- Work closely with CMD, CEO, Projects, Sales, CRM, Purchase,



Commercial, and other departments.
- Ensure proper coordination between Finance and Project teams.
- Provide financial inputs for business decisions, investments, project launches, acquisitions, and expansion plans.
- Present financial performance and key business insights to senior management.

Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in Real Estate Developer / Builder accounting and finance.
- Farvision ERP – Expert Level is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of project finance and project-wise accounting.
- Excellent understanding of budgeting, forecasting, MIS, and cash-flow management.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Strong financial analysis and decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership and team-management capabilities.
- Strong understanding of internal controls and risk management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven real estate environment.
- Strong commercial and business acumen.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Qualification: CA + CMA mandatory/preferred.
- Experience: 12+ years of relevant experience.
- Industry: Real Estate Developer / Builder – Mandatory.
- Candidates from established real estate developer organizations such as M3M, Bhutani, Sikka, Aditya or similar reputed developer groups will be highly preferred.
- Strong experience in managing finance functions for multiple real estate projects will be an added advantage.
- Immediate Joiners preferred.
