Role Description The Retail Sales Specialist is a full-time, in office role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. This role involves actively engaging customers in-store, understanding their furnishing needs, and recommending suitable products such as furniture, décor items, and upholstery. The specialist will explain product features, pricing, and promotions, assist customers throughout the buying process, and ensure a smooth checkout experience.

Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining product displays, ensuring accurate inventory on the sales floor,



handling customer queries and concerns, and supporting store cleanliness and organization. The role also includes collaborating with team members to meet sales targets, collecting customer feedback, and representing Furnishka’s values of transparency, empathy, and integrity in every interaction.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Retail Sales skills, including upselling, cross-selling, and working towards store sales targets.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to build trust, handle queries, and resolve issues professionally.
- Candidates should possess clear and confident Communication skills for explaining product details and guiding customers through purchase decisions.
- Candidates should possess good Product Knowledge in furniture and home décor, or the ability to learn quickly and stay updated on the Furnishka range.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in retail or furniture sales, familiarity with basic POS systems, strong attention to detail, and the ability to stand and move around the store for extended periods.
- Graduate is preferred; fluency in English and local languages in Bengaluru is an advantage.
