Job Title: Retail Cashier (Female)

Key Responsibilities

- Handle cash, card, and digital payment transactions accurately.

- Operate POS and cash register systems efficiently.

- Scan products and process customer bills.

- Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.

- Perform cash counting and daily cash reconciliation.

- Assist customers with billing and payment-related queries.

- Maintain a clean and organized checkout counter.

- Follow company cash-handling, security, and store procedures.

- Report billing or payment issues to the supervisor.

- Support other store operations when required.

Requirements

- Minimum 1 to 5 years of experience as a Cashier in a supermarket, hypermarket, retail store,



or FMCG environment.

- Good communication and customer-service skills.

- Basic knowledge of POS systems, billing, and cash handling.

- Valuable numerical and transaction-handling skills.

- Professional appearance and positive attitude.

- Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

- Basic English communication skills preferred.

- Candidates from Siliguri and Meghalaya are highly preferred. Candidates from other parts of Northeast India are also welcome to apply.
