Production Supervisor — Bengaluru Plant

About the Role

Verritas is setting up a new captive manufacturing plant in Marenahalli, Bengaluru, built around a modern, line-based sofa assembly process targeting 15 units/hour. We're looking for a Production Supervisor to help run and stabilize this high-volume production line as the plant scales up.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise the sofa assembly line across its stations: carpentry, spring/gunny belting, foaming, upholstery, and fitting
- Manage line staffing to hit output targets (assembly line target: 15 units/hour)
- Monitor and maintain flow across the 8 production zones within Shed No. 1 (~19,864 sq ft task/production area)
- Coordinate with QC and packing teams, which operate outside the main line
- Track and report daily production output and downtime




- Ensure safe and efficient use of machinery (fibre/foam processing, pillow-filling, compressed air systems, etc.)
- Support onboarding and training of current line workers, including those transitioning from a workshop/craft production background
- Maintain discipline around material handling, trolley movement, and workstation organization

Requirements

- 3–6 years of experience in line-based/mass production manufacturing (furniture experience a strong plus)
- Familiarity with assembly-line staffing, cycle-time management, and throughput tracking
- Ability to manage a large shop-floor workforce (plant headcount: 150)
- Strong communication skills to coordinate across production, QC, and packing
- Comfortable working in a newly commissioned plant environment

Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
